God calls His people His sheep, and He places leaders over them to shepherd them. Those who have accepted the responsibility of caring for God's people deserve respect and appreciation. At the same time, they should never forget that they are accountable to someone else-Jesus, the head Shepherd. He rewards the shepherd who proves faithful, and He punishes any shepherd who leads His sheep astray.

I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Death can't, and life can't. The angels can't, and the demon's can't. Our fears for today, our promises about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away. Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Keep your eyes on Jesus. No matter the trial, no matter what man has done to you, if you have failed, keep your eyes on Jesus! His eyes are always on you!
